What Happens in Vegas
Plot: Two people meet in Vegas, get drunk, get married, hit the jackpot, fight, split up and get back together. Sorry I told you the ending, but you would have figured it out from the coming attractions anyway.
The two most important cinematic features here are that Cameron Diaz looks good in all clothes and Ashton is the cutest boy in the grade, in any school, anywhere. That’s it really. That and you’ll probably enjoy this movie. I did. Granted, my standards are somewhat low when it comes to romantic comedies, but still. This is a very cute couple. I felt a little bad for Demi at one point because Cameron is not only adorable, she appears to be able to kick the crap out of stuff, but then I realized Demi probably doesn’t care. She has a ton of body guards, and besides, Ashton went so far out of his way to look like he wasn’t really enjoying kissing Cameron, Demi’s probably fine with it.
Made of Honor
Plot: "My Best Friend’s Wedding" except with a boy.
Okay, even I thought this was unusually bad. There is one red velvet dress that steals the show when they’re all having dinner in a castle -but the girl who’s wearing it (the star), whose name escapes me, didn’t wash her hair for that scene, so I’m not sure what else I could possibly tell you.
I realize I reviewed this one already, but it was playing on Jet Blue again, so, I um, watched it for the fourth time. It was either that or watch Martha Stewart on a talk show lie about what she eats for breakfast.
I can honestly say that after four viewings, I still have very deep feelings for James.
